Spiritual Sleeves Rolled UP and looking IN the mirror: the path to the holy grail

Being just about half way through the book now seemed like a good place to capture some of my initial thoughts and discoveries. To begin, I will make the statement that as with the other books I've read on the topic of Twin-Souls / Twin-Flames, these (plural) authors are not just expounding on a topic from an academic viewpoint. This is "HALLOWED GROUND" and a work that is given to us in LOVE... Accordingly, for those reading this please know that as my journey to understand the twin soul concept expands, I can feel the "roots" meshing, merging and expanding into the very fabric of my life; INDEED, it is a VERY Beautiful place to be and I remain deeply honored...

John and Diadra begin by expounding on God's ESSENCE being synonymous with "LIGHT." This is very important contextually as the word light (as J&D explain), is precious to many people(s). Cited under various names such as the Chinese, "Chi", and the Hindu, "akasha." They expand the synonyms for the Japanese, Yogic, Tibetan, Kabbalist, Sufis, Polynesian, Iroquois, the Pythagoreans, the ancient mystics, the Bible and even expand the description to include light examples as they may be referred to in quantum physics.

J&D, (John and Diadra), after illustrating how numerous belief systems equate light with the creator move into establishing how various belief systems establish the idea of the "split-apart" or twin-flames. As with my previous studies, this concept has some basic structure, i.e., it presupposes a loving creator who at the point of creation split apart the "ESSENCE" or soul of our being(s) which put in motion the cycle of our seeking to reunite with our twin and ultimately reunite as "the UNITED" back to God and the Universe. Obviously not a concept embraced by the masses, but as I've stated previously, NO "TRUE" CRITICAL THINKER will be willing to deny the POWER of this conceptual model in regard to promoting Global Peace and Wholeness for Humanity!!

From an epistemological model J&D bring information I do not remember seeing in the other books I've read. Specifically, they refer to the Zohar in speaking of the soul being split apart. Additionally, as with the expansion of illustrating how various cultures and people(s) conceptualize "light", the concept of the split-apart is expanded as well. This expansion includes beautiful illustrations and magical stories of several indigenous people(s) from around the globe. In a nutshell, J&D confirm, yet expand on my previous research in explaining that our path to wholeness, i.e., "Path Back to the Creator", is a path of self-mastery, seeking our twin, assisting the "souls" within our group or cluster, and bringing love and peace to the universe which in itself is the culmination and cosmic completion of the cycle.

J&D then do a wonderful job of merging the concepts of light and polarity, i.e., the + & - (male / female) and integrate it with the law of attraction. Here's where the spiritual sleeves get rolled up!!! Now I am not going to expound on many of the details of this book simply because it is a "Spiritual Manual!!" It HAS TO BE READ!!! to be APPRECIATED!!! What I will do however, is share some of the ideas concepts and words that commanded my attention. Ultimately, my hope is that you would find it fitting to obtain a copy of the book so we can further discuss its content.

Now on a personal note, I have no desire or need to be a martyr, or display exaggerated claims to pain; however, from a platform of some contextual strength I state that in this lifetime since childhood forward, I know to some measure what it means to claw, scratch and fight like hell with minimal or no gains. I state this because as a current non-trad student and former teenage druggie, 12step group enthusiast and long standing member of the self-analysis and periodic depression club, my heart reaches out to those who struggle!

In pursuit of that elusive "wholeness", I planted myself  in the realm of collegiate academics in 2001; my chosen field is in the realm of the social sciences. That said, the following comment is primarily intended for those who either seek or desire to aid those who do: "At this halfway point in the book, I cannot overemphasise the practicality of its content, and in general that of the twin soul concept!" This IS powerful / practical material for those willing to engage the Work of the Soul, a soothing balm for a searching hurting humanity...


 
From Page 16: Twin Soul reunion does not represent the end of the story of creation. It is the beginning of a new age, a new consciousness, a new birth, a new creature, a 'NEW Genesis.'... Like it or not, you are on a collision course with your spiritual destiny with which you shall soon come face to face. It is inevitable. Are you prepared to stand naked before the mirror of your Self?"

"We wish to make on thing very clear about the material you are about to study. It is all about the awakening, discovering and reunion with Self, and Self in every aspect of Self. It begins with individual Self discovery. Then and only then will you be drawn into relationships which are expanded extensions of your Self... Now for those of you looking for your soulmate or Twin Soul, forget it! You will not find this person until you find yourself... We all want the perfect Prince Charming or Cinderella who completely understands us, loves us unconditionally in all of our forbidden states, allows us unlimited freedom , and thinks exactly like we do. Only to the degree that you can BE that person you desire to attract will they show up in your life" (pg 22, 23). 

" Our purpose, and whether we are prepared to acknowledge it or not our heart's desire, is to embody and freely express those soul qualities inherent within us reflective of the true nature of God... The map to the Holy Grail thus starts with our 'issues,' which reflect our lessons, which reveal those soul qualities in alignment with our true nature, which are expressed through doing that which we 'love' to do, which is or mission and purpose-- the fulfillment of our heart's desire... transform soul quality lessons into spiritual gifts" (Pg 66, 67).
